Affiliate Disclosure

CasinosPlayed earns commissions when readers sign up at crypto casinos through our links. This page explains exactly how that works and how we keep editorial coverage independent from those commercial relationships.

How we make money

We participate in affiliate programmes with some of the crypto casinos we review. When a reader clicks one of our tracked links, registers an account, and meets the operator's qualification criteria (typically a first deposit or a minimum amount wagered), we earn a commission.

Commission models vary. Some operators pay a one-off cost-per-acquisition fee; others pay a revenue share on net gaming revenue. We never accept a deal that ties payment to a review score or a ranking position.

Who we have affiliate relationships with

We are building our operator programme and will list every commercial partner here as deals go live. Until an operator appears on this list, nothing on this site is paid placement.

Slot studios and software providers — Pragmatic Play, NetEnt, Play'n GO, Nolimit City, Hacksaw Gaming and the rest — do not pay us and have no commercial relationship with this site. Provider and slot game reviews are purely editorial.

If you see a "Play now", "Visit casino" or "Claim bonus" button anywhere on this site, assume it is an affiliate link. We do not mark each link individually; this disclosure is written to cover all of them.

What affiliate relationships do not influence

Commissions do not determine:

  • Which casinos, slots or providers we cover
  • The ratings we publish (scores reflect testing and maths, not commission rates)
  • Whether we publish criticism of a partner (we do, and we will)
  • Which operator we recommend for a specific player type or country

How our ratings are produced

Provider and slot ratings come from published RTP configurations, volatility data, max win maths, hit frequency, and hands-on play. Casino ratings additionally weigh licensing, withdrawal speed, crypto support, fee structure, bonus terms and complaint history. The methodology is the same whether or not a commercial relationship exists.

Why we use affiliate revenue

Running an editorial site has real costs — research, testing, translation, hosting, design and legal review. Affiliate revenue funds that work without a paywall or display advertising.

The alternatives we considered and rejected:

  • Operator-sponsored articles: rejected because it compromises editorial independence
  • Display advertising: rejected because it clutters reading and relies on invasive tracking
  • Reader subscriptions: rejected for now because it limits reach for a reference site

Play responsibly

Gambling is entertainment with a negative expected return. Never deposit money you cannot afford to lose, and use deposit, loss and session limits. If play stops feeling like a choice, seek support through a service such as GamCare or Gamblers Anonymous.
