How we review
The scoring framework behind every provider, slot and casino rating on this site.
- Game maths (35%) Published RTP and its configurable range, volatility, hit frequency and max win. A studio that ships 96%+ default RTP and refuses low-RTP variants scores higher than one that lets operators dial games down to 88%.
- Fairness and verification (20%) Independent RNG certification (eCOGRA, GLI, iTech Labs), provably fair implementations, and whether the RTP shown in-game matches the version actually deployed.
- Player value (20%) Bonus-buy pricing versus expected return, feature frequency, bet-range flexibility and how much of the advertised max win is realistically reachable.
- Transparency (15%) Public paytables, documented mechanics, licence disclosure and responsiveness when we ask for specifics.
- Experience (10%) Mobile performance, load weight, autoplay and loss-limit controls, and accessibility.
Frequently asked questions
Do casinos or studios pay for a better score?
No. Scores are produced from the criteria above before any commercial conversation, and we publish negative reviews of brands we have affiliate deals with.
How often are reviews updated?
Every review carries a visible updated date. We re-check RTP configurations, licences and law pages at least twice a year, and immediately when a regulator changes the rules.
How do you verify RTP?
We read the in-game info screen of the deployed build, cross-check it against the studio's published range and the operator's game listing, and flag any mismatch in the review.
